After the student has completed his/her Introductory Flying Lesson and an Adventure flight he/she will be ready to enroll in our school. The school enrollment fee of $379 includes unlimited access to the Cessna Pilot Center on-line written test program, normally $210. The school enrollment fee also includes unlimited use of the Gleim Flight Simulator normally $250. If the student has already passed the written exam, the school enrollment fee is $250 which includes unlimited use of the Gleim Flight Simulator.
We have learned from teaching thousands of students that flying frequently will help the student complete their training in the least amount of time and for the lowest cost. In order to achieve this goal, we have created our "bonus program" giving our students a $100 bonus credit for each $2000 deposited on account.
The student will schedule his/her first 10 lessons and fly rain or shine. On days that do not permit flight, the lesson will be completed on our Gleim Simulator. After a few lessons with a Certified Flight Instructor, the student can fly the lessons on the simulator without the assistance or cost of the instructor. The simulator charts the students' performance and the student will repeat the lessons, as necessary, until he/she can perform the lesson up to Federal Aviation Agency standards. Following our program, we have found that most students will complete the required 20-hour course in about 40 hours at which time the student will be well prepared and qualified to take their flight test. Most students will take about four months and spend between $6000 and $8000 to complete the required items in the curriculum. If the student does not fly at least three times per week it will take longer and cost more.
